The music of the Velvet Jazz is a blend of Jazz & Standards with music that spans from the 60s all the way to today’s pop hits. The groups draws its inspiration from modern crossover icons such as Patti Austin & Michael Buble and legends such as Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra to name a few. TVJ is also noted for performing current hits in big band swing style similar to YouTube sensation, Postmodern Jukebox. TVJ can be booked in various configurations from a Trio to a quartet or quintet and all the way up to a 20-pc Big Band.

 

The band’s front liner is The Voice of the Philippines semi-finalist, Mark Cando (lead Vocals); music is arranged and directed by resident genius, Jeremy Alex Salva (Keyboards).
