Elegant... Passionate... Sultry... Energetic... Witty… Professional… Entertaining... Top Class... These are just a few things that would describe this sweet, charming lady named SARITA. 

 

Sarita has been singing professionally since she was in her pre-teens. She finally got her break, got discovered, and later on released a 10-track album with Megamedia Records under the screen name Cheliza Padilla in the mid-90’s. She was exposed to Philippine showbiz at the very young age of 14. She has then appeared in different variety shows on local TV, guested on different radio stations, and graced thousands of crowd in different shows in and out of Manila. She has done stage acting with mentors like Bernardo Bernardo and Monique Wilson and has been trained by top vocal coaches in conservatory and pop music. 

 

This cheeky lass – on and off stage – was once called “the live wire” because she would always bring “life” onstage. Her energy is outrageous and contagious. Her passion for performing is so evident in every song she does. She sees to it that she sings each song with justice and dignity. Her professionalism onstage coupled with God-given talents - singing, hosting, and dancing – and her admirable rapport with her audience are only few of the outstanding points that one, who has seen her performances, can say about her. A total package, that she is.

 

For 15 years, she has sung in different hotels in other countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, and China. And for the past 11 consecutive years, she has performed in Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in Malaysia, China, and the Philippines. Her repertoire comprises of songs from different genres like pop, dance, classical/opera, Broadway/musicals, country, R&B, soul, hip-hop, reggae. Lea Salonga and Michael Jackson were her favorite artists when she was growing up. In fact, her special shows showcase her ability to sing and dance like her late idol Michael Jackson and she was featured on Yahoo Philippines 2010 because of that. Her energetic performances overseas were influenced by famous artists like Madonna, Beyonce, Shakira, and Jennifer Lopez. In 2012, she has mellowed down her style and decided tostick to lounge acts – a reason why she has performed in top hotels in Manila like Peninsula Hotel, Intercontinental Hotel, Resorts World, Century Park Hotel and Sofitel

Philiippine Plaza. She recently ended her year 2013 with a blast by performing at the Countdown Show with Arthur Manuntag, Romy Posadas, and the Brass Munkeys.

 

Being a professional singer is just one of the things this hardworking lady is good at. This multi-talented lady is also an accomplished professional model in the Philippines and Malaysia, makeup artist, emcee/host, businesswoman, website designer, writer/blogger, wardrobe stylist/designer, videographer/video editor, creative director, and photographer… among other things.

 

Since 2012, she has done TV commercials for Quaker Oats, Zonrox, and Royco (Indonesia), Blend 45 Coffee., Ceelin Vitamins, Biogesic, UFC Spaghetti Party Sauce, Lancaster Estates, Vonage (USA), and Tide. She also has some print-ad & billboard projects in Malaysia and the Philippines and Is one of the in-demand models in photography workshops and open shoots. She also does emceeing on corporate events. Truly, this talented and skillful lady is the “jill” of all trades.
