Precious Muriel Ting aka ‘Muriel Ting’, is a musician and a budding actress. At an early age, Muriel competed in local talent shows, and won many of these events by impressing audiences with her natural singing and dancing abilities, including ABS-CBN’s MTB Ang Saya Saya Honey me competition. She joined the star Magic workshop (ABS-CBN Talent center) in 2005, then had to quit and finish school. 

A mass communication graduate of Southville International School and Colleges in Paranaque City, she later on pursued singing, songwriting and acting. Her first project landed in 2011, when she joined Flipmusic Productions Co., an online community of artists, bands, songwriters, composers and producers of music, where she was able to sharpen her songwriting skills. And in 2013, she passed the audition of Elements music camp, handled by Maestro Ryan Cayabyab and more eligible composers in the Philippines, from thousands to sixty songwriters. 

Inspired by her musical influences from soul luminaries, Anita Baker, Diane Reeves, Aretha Franklin to her pop icons, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Katy Perry and Rihanna. Muriel began showcasing her talent in the live scene with performances at several bars, venues and known hotels like Edsa Shangri-la Manila, Makati Shangri-la, City of dreams and more. She’s also appearing on Television, Radio guestings, Mall shows, Youtube videos/covers and Concert scenes. She appeared on It’s Showtime to launch Dcoy’s single feat. Muriel called ‘Bebelabs’. She also had guestings in MYX, Net25 Letters and Music, This is your song, This is your story, etc. 

Aside from her own singles under Flipmusic Records and Polyeast records, she also collaborated with OPM Artists like Ron Henley for the track called ‘Atat’ which has over a million views already. with Jay- R (Philippines’ RnB king) for her track ‘Wag na lang sana’, with TJ Monterde for their track called ‘Us’ also a track with Blaze n’ Kane and Bone Thugs N’ Harmony and more such as Shehyee, Dello, Champ, Abra, etc. She’s also a front liner of Mr. Martin Nievera, Mr. David Pomeranz, etc. 

Her strong and soulful voice, natural charm and appeal, has made her one of the most requested featured artists, earned nominations from Wave 89.1’s Urban music awards and got her the attention of Polyeast Records and Viva Records. 

Muriel played in a lot of extravagant hotels in the Metro such as Edsa Shangri-la Manila, Sage Bar in Makati Shangri-la, City of Dreams Manila, Solaire Resort and Casino, Diamond Hotel and Cuisine by Chef and Brewer, Vu's Marco Polo, Manila Peninsula and more, before she focused as a wedding singer and singing in corporate event as well while continuing her passion in song writing. She is currently singing with YamJam Live a band created by Cong. Brian Yamsuan to raise funds and awareness to help young aspiring musicians.
