Lounge Singer

Charo or "Kim" (which means gold in Chinese) as she is better known in the performing industry started singing professionally at a tender age of 15. Coming from a musically inclined big family of 10 siblings. It has been very obvious that Kim was destined to be a performer/singer.

Kim started off as a mainstay for bands such as the Next Door Band. Chronicles Band and Music Matrix where she performed in venues such as Bedrock Malate. Hard Rock Cafe, Ratsky Manila, Cowboy Grill Manila Padi's Point Manila(2000-2001).

After the stints with those bands. She decided to try her luck doing solo stints with pianist and landed with international gigs. such as Mabuhay Club in Tokyo Japan (2003-2004) and Bonyang Bar in Seoul Korea (2006-2007). Her exuding beauty, charm and talent also gave her the chance to become The Philippine Travel Expo held in Suzhou and Shanghai China in April 2012.

 

With more than a decade in the music business. Kim has been one of the top

choices of bookers and agents for corporate shows and hotel stints.

She has performed in venues such as The Bayleaf Hotel top room (2015)

Manila Pavilion and Hyatt (2012-present)

Makati Shangri-La Lobby lounge (2012),

Diwata Lounge of Sulo Hotel (2006-2008)

The Baroque Hotel (2006)

Big Corporations and organizations such as Gardenia and Rotary Club of Quezon City

and Makati has featured Kim as a performer during their corporate shows and events in the past
